Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the feedback practices of teachers at primary level in district Bagh. This study is likely to contribute in apprising the concerned stakeholders in drawing up such policies which will help to promote effective feedback delivery system at schools. The study is descriptive in nature and survey method is adopted by the researchers for this. The target population comprises of all the primary teachers and primary level students in district Bagh of Azad Kashmir. Sample was selected using the stratified and random sampling technique. Standardized written and oral inventory was used. The data was collected by visiting all the schools included for the purpose of this study. Written feedback was given by teachers regarding feedback practices. Data was analyzed with the help of SPSS software. Frequency percentage, were applied. The findings of the study were drawn by analyzing data and conclusions are made by the researchers based on the findings and then recommendations are made based on the conclusions. The study found that feedback has a positive effect on students’. The students who are given feedback by their teachers perform well in their examinations. The researcher recommended improving this practice in schools almost at primary level of education.
